About the VPSA Membership

Membership in the Virginia Peninsula Sportsmen’s Association is currently $20.00 a year and is open to all law abiding sportsmen that live east of the Blue Ridge Mountains as defined in the Virginia Hunting and Trapping Regulations issued by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources. Membership is by invitation only, meaning that a member in good standing must submit the name of individuals who are interested in joining. This is done not to exclude membership but so that a persons character as a law abiding sportsman can be attested too. Members who join the VPSA while living in the eastern region and move from this area may retain membership after moving as long as dues remain current.

Benefits of Membership

Membership is open to all residents of Virginia. Members are eligible to participate in the members only contest held each year in conjunction with the Annual Big Game Contest. Members are also kept abreast of contest information, game law changes and other information pertaining to hunting and state regulations before the Dept. of Wildlife Resources and the State General Assembly.
