Contest Details
- Earn your Bear, Deer, or Turkey Virginia DWR Citation – All game scored under the Virginia Scoring System
- HISTORICAL, WOMEN’s only, and YOUTH only categories will be included for Bear, Deer, and Turkey.
- $20 fee for each entry – gains you free admission to show
- Deer do not need to be mounted – Antlers on skull plate
- Bear citations require a clean bear skull
- Turkey citations require beard, feet, and weight card (Frozen Turkey entries will not be accepted
- Pre-Registration is encouraged, however onsite registration may occur, entries must have DWR confirmation number or hard copy tag.
- Preregistration will open on July 1st, 2025.
- Friday, August 1st – Entries will be accepted from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
- Saturday, August 2nd – Entries will be accepted from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Sunday, August 3rd – Awards ceremony will take place at 3:00PM; entries can be picked up directly following the awards ceremony.
